FOSTER CITY, CA - (May 7, 2015.) Conversica, the foremost provider of artificial intelligence (AI) powered lead conversion management software for marketing and sales, announced today that Werner Koepf has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Koepf will lead the company’s technical teams and guide the development of Conversica’s platform.

The addition of Koepf follows a number of recent moves by the company to add senior executive leadership in sales, business development and marketing, as the company expands into new markets, acquires new customers and enhances its artificial intelligence platform for Sales and Marketing.

“The bringing together of artificial intelligence with sales and marketing automation represents an evolution towards a radically more effective and results-based approach in this fast-changing market,” said Mark A. Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of Conversica. “Conversica is ideally positioned at the center of this transformation with core strengths that uniquely intersect humans and machines to improve critical business functions. I am excited to have Werner join our company, and I believe he will make a huge contribution to help us transform the way sales and marketing organizations engage with prospects and customers.”

Before joining Conversica, Werner was Vice President of Engineering at Ticketmaster, where he led the team that built out the company’s order processing service. Koepf’s previous experience includes Vice President of Technology and Product at Wetpaint, Vice President for Application Architecture at Expedia, Senior Manager at Amazon.com, and CTO of MAYA Viz, an information visualization start-up acquired by General Dynamics. Werner holds a Ph.D. from the Technische Universität München in Theoretical Nuclear Physics.

“I’m very excited to join the Conversica management team as the company expands its technology leadership,” said Koepf. “This position is a great fit with my background in analytics and high volume transactional systems, and I look forward to building upon the Conversica AI platform and growing the engineering teams to bring the kinds of results I’ve accomplished with other world class companies.”

Koepf will be sharing his vision for Conversica’s platform and his insights on the application of artificial intelligence to Sales and Marketing through regular blog posts at conversica.com/blog.
